Perumal Kuppuudaiyar


Perumal is a Senior Researcher within Intel’s Labs Europe (ILE).

He has been with Intel for 15 years, serving variety of engineering, operational and research roles. He is currently ILE’s research lead for the H2020 project ‘CloudLightning’ which is focusing on developing and implementing architecture for self–optimizing and self-organising heterogeneous cloud for HPC workloads. Perumal was previously worked with EU funded FP7 IP framework projects such as PERSIST, SOCIETIS and TIMBUS, where he played a key technical researcher role by closely working with consortium providing technical capabilities. He holds Bachelor of Engineering (1st class Honours) degree from DIT, Dublin and MSc Operational Research from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.
